My 90 Day Cancer Update

Update: After five years of chemo, radiation treatments and numerous surgeries, I am FINALLY in remission (NED). It took three long battles with cancer (1-colorectal and 2-lungs) but I’m finally able to breathe easily (no pun intended) until it comes back (there’s no cure for colon cancer) for me a fourth time.

Me & Dad at the Mayo Clinic Radiation Center

For now, I can focus all my efforts on helping my dad while he goes through what I did… only he has it worse with mets to his liver, kidneys and lungs. But at least he has me around to help navigate the waters and assist (he’s 73) with chores, bills, cooking and cleaning when needed. So far so good tho and right now he’s gonna find out if he’s a candidate for surgery or if it will be chemo for life (maintenance). We’ll see…… soon.

As for my consulting business, I have begun helping clients again with everything from accounting & finance (banking to credit & collections), project management, sales & marketing (management) to business startups (online/ecommerce) and live streaming (webinars to audio & video podcasting). To schedule/commission a one-on-one [free] consultation and/or schedule a discounted hourly session, go to my primary support page at https://ko-fi.com/jsarzoza , DM me via my socials or simply contact me by reaching out via the Contact Us page here on this website.

Tomorrow, we get up at 3 AM and head to the cities for a full day (beginning at 6:30 AM) at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis for CTs, an MRI and physical exams (in the morning) and then meetings/consults with two different surgeons (one colon and one liver) in the afternoon.

So, keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we move through the trials and tribs of his cancer journey. I’ll keep ya posted and let you all know the results and whether he will go through colon and liver surgeries or if the next stage will be more chemo. Thanks again for ALL your love and support, it means the world to me (and our family). Hope all is going well with you and your family and… have yourself a wonderful evening.  Cheers! ~JR

PS: To provide additional support, you can buy us a coffee (one-time donation) at BMC or KO-FI or… join our Cancer Sucks community (a wonderful cause) by selecting whichever membership tier makes the most sense for you. Whichever way you choose to support us and our fight with colon cancer, please know that it means the world to us (more than you know) and will go towards much needed food, medicine and supplies.
